How to Undo In Gmail

We know there are a lot of people out there that use Gmail for their email. Without it, some of us would probably go through email withdrawals.

With everything you can do with Gmail these days, wouldn’t it be cool to have a option to undo that email you just sent out? Well, that time has finally arrived.

The other day I was looking through the Gmail Labs and found a new feature called:  Undo Send. With this option turned on, you can now take back an email you have sent from your Gmail account.

When this option is enabled, you are able to undo a sent email. After you click on send, you will get a confirmation message that it has been sent, along with a link to undo. The message will display for five seconds to “undo”. After five seconds, you will not have the opportunity to undo send the message.

So, if you are fast on the click, you will be able to undo messages with mistakes you would rather not come to light. For those that forget to attach files, add cc to someone or have a issue with spelling, this would be a good thing to have enabled on your account.
